Kibana with other back-end engines?

Hi, I was wondering if its possible to integrate engines other than Elasticsearch with Kibana which use REST API. And if possible then will it require a lot of the back-end code to be changed? And if it takes a lot of changes, could it be done by writing a plugin to extend the back-end?

Hi Kirolos

Kibana only supports Elasticsearch. It would be quite difficult to support the ES features like aggregations in other databases.
