We have setup cross cluster search in kibana. When we try to see monitoring it shows the nodes of remote cluster but not the local cluster where cross cluster search is enabled.
Can you please help on this.
Are you talking about multi-cluster monitoring, or cross cluster search?
We have enabled cross cluster search. When i click on monitoring tab in kibana, it shows different cluster .
Is there actually monitoring data in the local cluster that Kibana is connected to? If not, check to make sure that the local cluster has monitoring enabled and that it is not exporting stats to some other location.
If your license allows multi-cluster monitoring, and you have monitoring data in multiple clusters, then you should be able to see the Monitoring dashboards for any cluster that is available over cross-cluster search.
