I'm a new user in Kibana and it is not working in my machine, it shows the following exception:
[license][xpack] license information from the X-Pack plugin could not be obtained from Elasticsearch for the [data] cluster. AuthentificationException[unable to authenticate user[user_name] for REST request [/_xpack]...
From version 5.0 of the stack, the Kibana version must match the Elasticsearch version, so Kibana 6.3 will not work with Elasticsearch versions prior to 6.3.
I changed Elasticsearch server ip in kipana yml config but it's still trying to connect to localhost, please check the yml file below
# Kibana is served by a back end server. This controls which port to use.
port: 5601
# The host to bind the server to.
host: "0.0.0.0"
# The Elasticsearch instance to use for all your queries.
elasticsearch.url: "http://10.**.**.**:9200"
# preserve_elasticsearch_host true will send the hostname specified in `elasticsearch`. If you set it to false,
# then the host you use to connect to *this* Kibana instance will be sent.
