I am having this issue with Kibana. Embedded iframe dashboard filtering does not work · Issue #91590 · elastic/kibana · GitHub

I am running it with Elastic Cloud but I was wondering if there was any way to run earlier versions of Kibana on Elastic Cloud? And if that would even fix the issue? Is the only option to wait for V 7.12.1 to be released?

It's possible to run earlier version of Kibana/Elasticsearch on cloud (you can pick them when creating a deployment), but there are two limitations:

  • You can't carry your data from a more recent version to an older version (only the other way around)
  • You can't run different versions of Kibana and Elasticsearch together, they always have to match.
