Kibana keyboard input lag

Hi,

We've recently upgraded our logging cluster to 6.3.0 for logstash, elasticsearch and kibana. One of the users has noticed with the new version of kibana that there is a lag of 1-2 seconds when typing into the discovery search. If he disables the js eventing around key down, key up etc in the developer tools then performance is much better.

Is there anything else that can be done to improve the responsiveness?
