cloud.elastic.co indicated that all 'shield' settings would need kibana to be installed.
After installing kibana, I hit a redirect loop when trying to visit the page.

Is this in a cloud instance?
What version of Kibana it is?
Have you installed x-pack or not(are you using security)?
Any special network configurations that you have made?
