KIbana - tile map- geo_point

Hi all,

How do I fix my tile map issue whenever I create a new index ,am unable to use the tile map.It always says No Compatible Fields: The "logstash_sflow_test-*" index pattern does not contain any of the following field types: geo_point

How to fix this issue am having this problem for months,any suggestion or help would be really helpful.

Am using kibana 4.6 .

Does your index have a field that is correctly mapped as a geo_point?

Actually I dont have a field which says geo_point, but I have only dst_geoip.ip and src_geoip.ip .

Sounds like you need to fix the mappings to make one/both of those a geo_point.

Am sorry am not sure how to fix the mappings and get the geo_point field.
