Kibana to read logfile

Hi ,

I am trying to use kibana in windows environment to read logfiles without using logstash.
Wherever I have searched I got either curl command to run the log file in elasticsearch but i have no clue where to run it . Kindly help me with this to perform this in windows.

Kibana is essentially a read only app that integrates with Elasticsearch only. It cannot read logfiles.

You will need Logstash or filebeat.

There is this method given in one of the forum of kibana -

It says in the end to run curl command in elasticsearch in bulk api , dont know exactly how do i do that?
