Hello,

I am trying to create a visualization to represent the evolution of a field x in time
so X axes timestamp and Y axes the field , but can't find how to represent it,
for y axes there is only aggregations that can't represent the value of the filed.

Anyone have an idea how to deal with this ?

Hello,

x Axis needs to be time histogram and y axis (metric) the aggregation you need.

thanks for your answer.
In y axis i dont need any specific aggregation, i just want to show the value of a field.

In that case you need to choose top hit .
top hit will per default take the last value of the given time interval.

There is no possibility to take any value as there might be multiple values per time range
