As per the documentation https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/4.5/line-chart.html, there is an option To Show Legend to enable/disable the legend in options tab. Is it not available in version 4.5.2?
option was removed in 4.4. right now you can show/hide the legend by clicking on the arrow next to the legend.
would you mind explaining shortly your usecase, it might help us better understand why removing legend would be better than hiding it ?
I don't want to remove the legend. I don't want to show it by default. Setting a default collapsed legend will do the trick. But not sure its possible though.
yeah you can do that.
create your visualiation and collapse legend. now save your visualization. (legend state will get saved with it).
if you add it to dashboard now legend will be collapsed by default.
