I am attempting to create a line graph where it can show a change in field's value.
This field is a keyword.
is this possible?
I don't think is possible, perhaps using Timelion? i want show a line graph where
keyword field service.state: "Running" changes to service.state: "Stopping"

could you mock up an example of what you're expecting to build?
Something like a line that goes up with Running and down (like to 0) with Stopping?

What happens if you create a line metric and use a breakdown based on status?

This is an example of using the breakdown status on specific service
you have to zoom in to see a bit of the difference but even then its like doesn't help in understanding the value change
