You Elastic guys write:
You can use use LVM, mdadm , or a combination of the two for block device management, but this configuration is not documented nor is it supported in Elastic Cloud Enterprise.
What does this statement mean in detail and how far does it go saying it is not supported?
I mean: Logical volumes are a powerfull way of handling space resources. Do I understand the documentation correctly that its usage is not allowed for ECE installations? Otherwise no support...
