Magento How to add custom indexes

Hello. I am new to Elasticsearch . I been using Magento 2 and have installed Elasticsearch and is working . Issue is as follow.
within magento 2 , I have many configurable products , each configurable product set as simple product with SKU but by default those simple product are not visible to catalog and Search , Thus , searching for those products result in No product found ( is normal ) , I like to be able to search for sku number of those invisible simple product and point to main visible configurable product .
is there a way to add SKU : URL , manually to elasticsearch , so when searching the site for specific sku , i can display associated configurable product ?
