Hi All,
Some members from the commercial arm of Elasticsearch are coming to town to
do training and we've work together to setup the first Elasticsearch User
Group in AU!
If anyone is using Elasticsearch and wants to talk with one of the core
devs, or is just interested in what it can do for you, then you're welcome
to join us. You can find all the details and RSVP via the Meetup page -

Clinton Gormley, one of Elasticsearch's core developers and the
gentleman behind our forthcoming guide to Elasticsearch from O'Reily Media,
will be in Sydney hosting an Elasticsearch training course. Clint will
cover features coming in Elasticsearch 1.0, give a few demos and take
audience Q&A.
We're still in the process of lining up other speakers from the Sydney
community to talk about their experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash and
Kibana. Stay tuned for more details.
We'll have pizza and beer for all our attendees, so come hungry for noms
and knowledge!
Regards,
Mark Walkom
Infrastructure Engineer
