Under the Data management section on the elastic.co/subscriptions page I see an entry for "Minimal snapshots".
What is that referring to? I can not find any information in the documentation.

I'm 99% sure that means source-only snapshots although I've never seen this feature called "minimal snapshots" elsewhere.
Thanks for the response.
I need to configure a snapshot policy that is pretty "minimal", meaning it only includes saved objects (dashboards, index templates, pipelines), alerts, ML data, system indices, settings and configurations, etc. but does not include any data. The reason is because my data is very high volume and frequency so in a disaster recovery situation I don't care about restore old data, just the ability to quickly start ingesting new data again.
Would configuring a snapshot policy to just include indices starting with a period accomplish this goal? eg the indices setting would be ".*"
