We have a requirement to mirror elastic and a few other products on an internal red hat satellite 6 system. This is a security requirement on several fronts. The problem for me is where do I go to get the repo urls for the various products (ie. elasticsearch 6.0.1, kibana, etc) I have searched for several hour on the main site and haven't found anything that is actually usable.
The doesnt' get me what I need, the example from the documentation (https://artifacts.elastic.co/packages/6.x/yum/ is dead. If I get the rpm that means I install the rpm on the system. What I need to do is sync to the elastic repos to out satellite. Then the client systems would install elastic from our internal satellite.
It works for me on my Fedora (not via a satellite, though). I create the /etc/yum.repos.d and I can install version 6.2. So it doesn't look like a dead repo. Sorry, I don't think I can help.
