Module 6 Actionable Observability Data Lab 6.3 Alerting

I am completing a course on Elastic Observability Engineer on Demand, Module 6: Actionable Observability Data, and running Lab 6.3 on Alerting, which requires creating an alert on Step 9. While doing this, I am getting a pop-up when I click the email icon, which states that "this connector requires a gold licence" Please assist with this error,

Did you test GET /_license in your devtools to make sure you have a license in your lab?
