New Settings for Cluster Replication on Multiple VMs

Guys,

Can you please provide an updated post with regards on how can I set 3 ES VMs that can communicate with one another? I found on the web or here some old settings that do not work.
With the new files some settings are obsolete i.e node.client etc.

My plan is to make a 3 node cluster (one Master and 2 child nodes) on 3 different VMs. This means 3 different IPs etc.

How can I connect 3 VMs in order to have a fully 3 nodes functional cluster?!
