Not showing field names in Y Axis

Hi. I just installed the ELK stack on Windows 7.

When I try to visualize, and when I try to select the field for YAxis, I see only 2 options, which are number geoip.longitude and geoip.latitude. This is for all the options under y-axis aggregation. Except for Unique Count, which is not something that I want.

Anyone faced a similar situation?

Hi Purna,

To make sure we're on the same page, what version of Elasticsearch and Kibana did you install?

How are you indexing data into Elasticsearch, what do the documents look like?
What visualization are you looking to create?

I downloaded the latest versions of the ELK stack and trying to visualize the Jmeter logs. I tried both the Area chart as well as the line chart. Both show only the geoips. For me linechart and the area chart are the ones which are important.

Jmeter Logs are being sent to Logstash which being sent to ES and visualized using Kibana.

The logs are Jmeter logs which are csv based.
