Hi,
Is it somehow possible to use 2-legged OAuth authentication, specifically client_credentials and password type, with Heartbeat?
The goal is to request a token by a single request to the oauth server, extract the token from the response and attach it to a header when issuing the request to the resource server (endpoint to be monitored).
If you use synthetic monitoring this should be possible since you have unlimited control over browser automation.
For our lightweight checks we only send a single request, and this isn't possible.
Thank you for the answer.
Looking forward for such a feature, it would be a nice addition.
Synthetic monitoring would need a lot of investment to learn it.
