Old index in red state after creating cluster

hello
i have created cluster of 2 nodes
node1: master node
node2: data node

the cluster state is red because the old index existing before creating my cluster are in red state.

i would like to know if i can turn my old index to green state and not lose them.

Could you run cluster allocation explain api for this index to see why it's red?
