OpenShift vm.max_map_count

Have someone been able to pass this bootstrap check bumper in Elasticsearch 5?
I have tried different strategies to change the vm.max_map_count in the container, but nothing seems to change it.

I get a "sysctl: setting key "vm.max_map_count": Read-only file system" error when using sysctl command and nothing happens if I change /etc/sysctl.conf.

Apparently I need to change the OpenShift host itself, but I'm not sure the infra provider is going to do that.

Any suggestion?
