Hi,

I know that not much information has been given on APM yet (given that it's not released), but I think Opbeat / APM looks miles ahead of its competitors & I'm really keen to investigate it / migrate our team over to using it. I have a few questions, if you wouldn't mind answering them:

  • When will APM be available to ElasticCloud users? v6, or later as with Machine Learning?
  • How will APM be priced? Free like Kibana / ES, part of X-Pack like Watcher, or billed per transaction? It's not documented here yet, understandably.

As for your questions:

  • I unfortunately can't give you any timelines for ElasticAPM on ElasticCloud yet. Rest assured, we're working hard to deliver it though
  • Similarly, pricing on ElasticCloud is still being worked out.
