Problem with Kibana timestamp format

A newbie question for you:

On my Kibana "discover" page, timestamps appear as "2022-07-Th 18:21:00.234" (Th for Thursday rather than 21st of the month).

Under Stack Mgmt --> advance settings, the format is DD.MM.YY @ HH:mm:ss.SSS, so I can't see where the problem lies. Why does it not follow this format? Where must I go to fix the incorrect setting?

Thanks for any help.
George

Check your time field in the data view - maybe there's a special formatter configured on that field?

Thanks for answering, but I don't understand what you mean by "data view".

I'm a newbie with ELK, it's a very small part of my job, so....

If you are using an older version of Kibana they are called "index pattern" - exact same concept, but they got renamed recently

I'm using v7.14. I can't see "index patterns" either. I'm on the "Discover" page.

It's under Stack management

Yes, I found what you're referring to and fixed it, thanks a bunch!!!
