Just added a third agent in my Elastic Security serverless home setup and I noticed that this third Agent automatically updated to a version 9.0.3+build202507110136 which seems different then my other Agents which are on 9.0.3.
Overall this is the expected behavior. We've built a process that currently is available to Endpoint and Agent that allows us to push out a release independent of the full stack. Agent and Endpoint can independently opt in to shipping an update and in this case only Endpoint opted in to being updated. Because of that, the 9.0.3+ build should be the same agent and beats executables as the 9.0.3 release, but we updated endpoint to address Issue in Elastic Defend's 8.17.8/8.18.3/9.0.3 Network Driver May Lead To Bug Checks · Issue #90 · elastic/endpoint · GitHub
So if you go to the Agent downloads page, you will also see that the 9.0.3+ is the latest release of agent as well.
We've identified an issue with how we do the release notes for these builds that is making getting those posted take slightly longer though and so we're working on that.
