Question About Snapshot and Restore

Hello, I am struggling with Elasticsearch on Docker and have few questions.
Even if you don't know the answers to all the questions, I'd appreciate it if you could answer them.

  1. Snapshot and Restore : Does Restoring Process includes Reindexing?

  2. Restoring on other version fails, so i restore to same version and then i upgrade my elasticsearch. What did i miss here?

  3. Restore an Entire Cluster : This process does not clone security configuration. To clone security configuration, do i have to clone kibana.yml and elasticsearch.yml also?
