Re: about Scrutmydocs, Do you know?

and how do i connect scrutmydocs to my sql database? Or has it own data
container in itself? I didn't run my own elasticsearch cluster, but there
is already elasticsearch that running with a cluster named "scrutmydocs". I
didn't do any connecting action so i don't understand completely. How do i
see my docs that uploaded to scrutmydocs app.?

Pls help, hanks in advance.

Hey,

Scrutmydocs is not right now able to fetch document from SQL database. It only supports at the present time filesystem river.
I'm aware of a pending PR about indexing JIRA documents as well but still need to review it properly.

There are several ways to put documents (oOo, PDF, …) in scrutmydocs:

Then your documents in folder you just defined should be indexed.

Does it help?

Last question :). Are my uploaded documents thrown to Elasticsearch server
that is built like cloud server? Should I connect my own elasticsearch
server and sql database to Scrumydocs? Will it work?

Your answer is highly appreciated. Thank you

BTW I'm Mongolian, and my english is not good, So try understand, pls

If I understand your question, documents are sent and stored in Elasticsearch cluster.
Elasticsearch could be only an internal node running in the web app (default), or could be a full external cluster if you configure it.

I don't understand the SQL database point. Do you mean that you feel that you need an external database to store documents? No. Elasticsearch does everything here: storage, search…
