Hi all,
I have some xel files which are a SQL server output. Is there any way to read these files and index them in Elasticsearch. Can beats or logstash read these files?
Any help will be so appreciated.
Regards

Are they text format?
Hi Dear warkolm,
File is *.xel
The contents inside a .XEL are not plain text that can be viewed with Notepad.exe
You'll have to figure out a way to turn that into non-encoded then, so Filebeat can read it.
Many thanks.
