Retrieve Kibana Query Time Statistics

Hello,

Does anyone know if there is way to access Query time under Statistics in Kibana? We want to monitor these statistics so we can better understanding the following:

  • Long running query on user behavior (Query time)
  • Total time it tools for each user (Request time?)

That value is not exposed to queries in Kibana. The tool we recommend for testing queries you suspect are taking too long is the Search Profiler which can be found in the Dev Tools tab in Kibana.

Hi @Marius_Dragomir,

Thanks for pointing out on the Search Profiler. Looks like there an API for search profile. Is this something you would recommend to measure search query?
