Hi,
Suppose my identity provider does not know what is SAML metadata file or how to generate it . How can i generate SAML metadata file for identity provider.

Also can elasticsearch work as identity provider

Honestly, I'd be worried about what else SAML related this SAML IDP doesnt know about. I have never seen a saml IDP that cant generate its own metadata.

No. The elastic stack, that is elasticsearch and kibana in this context act as a SAML Service Provider

You can also try to use an external tool like SAML Identity Provider (IdP) XML Metadata Builder | SAMLTool.com where you input all information for your IdP, if you have that, and it would build your metadata
