Saving a snap shot in windows UNC path from Elasticsearch running in a linux machine

I have a elasticsearch running in linux machine is it possible to backup data in windows shared location.
How to take a snapshot of data from Elasticsearch cluster running in Linux machine.

May be using something like samba to mount your drive?
