Server Up Time (Windows)

Hi,

Is there a way of returning the current up time values of a windows server. (Would it be the same approach for other os's if this were required).

If have googled around but not been able to find anything, so any useful links would be appreciated.

How Can I Check Server Uptime?

  1. Right-click the Windows taskbar and select Task Manager.
  2. Once Task Manager is open, click the Performance tab. Under the Performance tab, you will find the label Uptime.

I appreciate how to achieve this within windows. This question was how to extract that information into elastic such that it can be displayed on a dashboards and alarms to be built.
