Sorting of number in discover not working

I have number field when I try to sort it out it does not sort. is there some setting I am missing or is it bug
I only selected this one field in my discover. do not display the timestamp as I don't want it.
but any way I can't make it work. I am using Kibana version 7.8.1

Hi @elasticforme,
Based on https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/69109, it seems like the multi sort is playing you down.
Can you try to show the Time column and make sure it isn't applying any sorting?

that is it. it worked.

I used one of time field on one column, make sure it is not sorted by that. and then use this number field
