Sorting of X-Axis is incorrect when "Split Series" is also enabled

I've met the same issue https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/25687, it was marked as Duplicate of #17532, May I know how is this ongoing for now?

The new visualization editor is almost finished so that would help with the underlying issue for this problem. You can follow the old issue for updates when the new viz editor is released.
