If you see something that looks like spam we ask that you flag it for us to action.
Actually for bamwar there is a trick we can apply:
I just set: auto block first post regex to \p{Hangul}{3}
This means that we will automatically block any first posts that have korean in them (you can still approve if needed)
This only applies to the first post ever by a user.
Regarding Akismet @eviltrout will have a look but I think it will learn.

Stuff has calmed down a fair bit it appears, no new spams snuck through
