Steps to import Dashboard to 6.6

I would like ti know the procedure to keep to migrate dashboards /visualization from one version to another. I am facing problems in missing fields, visualization not coming up.

Can some one list the step by step procedure.

Thanks. Were these dashboards and visualizations created in 6.3, or were they from an earlier major, e.g. 5.x?

To clarify, there shouldn't be any errors in dashboards or visualizations when upgrading from 6.3 to 6.6 so I'm trying to figure out the possible source of your issues. Could you also provide more detail on the exact problems you're seeing? Error messages and screenshots will be especially helpful.
