I have selected a proper date range in which data is present. I have configured timefield filter too. Still timelion just shows no data. In other visualizations data is present. What else I am missing?
Hi,
you should not write .es(*)
in the query bar on top. This will filter your data for that search.
If that still does not reveal any results, could you please show your Discover view for the trending*
index?
Cheers,
Tim
Hi. I figured out. Seems like in the mapping of time field there was a space. So when I changed
.es(index=trending*,timefield=CPD_DT) to .es(index=trending*,timefield='CPD_DT ') the data came up.
It is always a good idea to use quotes when referring to fields
Can you reply to this someone?-
