Timelion showing no data

I have selected a proper date range in which data is present. I have configured timefield filter too. Still timelion just shows no data. In other visualizations data is present. What else I am missing?

Hi,

you should not write .es(*) in the query bar on top. This will filter your data for that search.

If that still does not reveal any results, could you please show your Discover view for the trending* index?

Hi. I figured out. Seems like in the mapping of time field there was a space. So when I changed
.es(index=trending*,timefield=CPD_DT) to .es(index=trending*,timefield='CPD_DT ') the data came up.

It is always a good idea to use quotes when referring to fields

Is there a way in area chart to remove overlapping area?

[image] I want to remove the overlapping area or in short I want the area only between the high threshold and low threshold lines as you can see in the image above. Is there any way to do it in kibana 6.2? If not is there any other visualisation which can provide this feature?
