I previously submitted a request to extend my Elastic trial license for 30 days to test Machine Learning features on my self-managed (on-premises) setup. I haven’t received a response yet and would appreciate any updates on the status of my request.

If you still haven't heard back, I'd ask on Have questions? Contact Elastic | Elastic and if you are blocked, you can reset it to another 30 day trial if you start with a fresh data directory.
