Trigger Re-optimization in Kibana

Using version 6.8.9

Hi,

I have been trying to force Kibana to re-optimize, but the only way I have found so far is by deleting the 'optimize' folder under Kibana root folder, and that's not working, but causing Kibana fail to start instead.

Is there something wrong with my Kibana or is there any other way, like a command to force optimization?

Thanks

Hello,

What is the error you see when you delete optimize folder and restart Kibana please?

Thanks,
Bhavya

Hi @bhavyarm,

Actually I found a workaround to reach my goal and now I am trying to migrate to ELK 7.8, so I don't think I will spend more time on that issue.

I appreciate your interest in helping me.

Thank you
