Turn off location snapping when moving markdown elements

Hi,
My canvas has a number of images and markdown elements. When I select and move a markdown element (using mouse) in the vicinity of other markdown elements some grid/reference lines show up around the element I am moving. These are useful as they help align the element with reference to neighboring elements.

But in some cases they also seem to only allow placement of the markdown element at certain locations(grids?), if I try to move it canvas snaps it back to some specific locations.

Question: Is there a way to turn off this snapping(auto adjustment) of a markdown elements location? I am using version 6.6.2.

Thanks

Hi @rcodestuff,

Have you tried pressing meta/alt key while dragging/rotating elements? Here you can read more about that and other tips & tricks.

Best,
Oleg

Exactly what I was looking for. Works as desired. Thanks
