Unable to log into Kibana lab, says my username and password is incorrect but I'm 100% sure I am inputting everything correctly

Course: Elastic Security for SIEM (On-Demand)
Question: I am unable to log into the Kibana lab, it keeps telling me my username and password is incorrect but I'm 100% sure I am inputting everything correctly. For the username it says to use “student” and the password you have to cat it from the CREDENTIALS, yet when I copy and paste it, it still is giving me an error. When I show password everything is exactly the same. It is extremely frustrating because even when I make a new account with new email and everything, I still am getting the same error. So I have no idea what is going on. When I first made my account I was able to access the Kibana lab but for whatever reason I am unable to.

I emailed support from elastic and they told me in order to force a reset please run sudo /usr/local/sbin/reset-es-password to reset the password. I did that but it still did not work. I also cleared my cache / cookies / history, and verified that script blockers or ad blockers are disabled and open a fresh Google Chrome browser using Incognito mode. Yet still it is not working. Please help!

Hi @jaydee student is the account used for the system but you don’t log in to it as student I don’t believe. I am not sure where you are seeing that but the username for Kibana is elastic. That credentials file has the user and password if I recall correctly.
