There appears to be mixed opinions on the use of Elastic Search for unstructured data search so I thought I would ask this group.

Scenario - looking at replacing a GSA solution with an alternative search solution for an external digital space and ultimately determining if the solution could also solve Internal Enterprise Search requirements.

Is the current version built to solve these scenarios or is the SWIFT capability really needed to solve the typical requirements?

Basically with elastic stack you have most of the features to replace GSA but you'll have a lot of manual work to do, write some code probably...

Swiftype will provide all that out of the box, reducing a lot your efforts and adding nice features.
