I have uploaded a CSV file via logstash into elasticsearch. I did not set the date field in the Logstash config file. Is there a way to change the string-type to date-type in Kibana? Kindly help.
You cannot update the mapping of existing fields. Delete existing indices and upload file into elasticsearch again.
