We are trying to upgraded from ES 2.2 to ES 6.6. Can anyone can help us with best possible way to do it? Do we need to upgrade to 5.X first before upgrading to 6.X? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Mark for your response. I checked that link and it is helpful. I was looking for more like a documented steps or for someone who can share their experience of migration from 2.2 to 5.6.
The best option would be to spin up a new 6.X cluster, then do a reindex into the new one.
