Upgrade from 7.5 to 8.X, (APM Server)

Hi we have to upgrade elasticsearch from 7.5 to 8.X, the problem is that one of our clients uses APM and we dont have access to change the APM agents intalled on our clients machines, so we have to tell them what to do.

-An 7.5 APM agent will be compatible with an 8.x APM server?
