Use ELK stack for Jenkins Metrics Data visualization

Hello,

I am newbie in ELK and I am trying to use ELK stack for Jenkins data visualization. I am planning to use Jenkins remote API https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Remote+access+API for fetching data.

Could you please help if I can use Http_poller input plugin plugin to fetch data from Jenkins and push it to Elasticsearch through Logstash. Also please suggest if there is any other better workflow to achieve this.
