Hi，I'm going to install x-pack in elk for security. But I'm confused that can I install x-pack only in es?
Which version of the stack are you using?
- Before 6.3: Install X-Pack for Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash — see https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/x-pack/current/installing-xpack.html
- 6.3.0 or later: Get the default packages (not the OSS ones) and everything is already built in. You can just enable a trial or add your license.
