We have a new elastic hosted instance (on gcp) running and would like to use logstash on there. I could not find any documentation on this and the only recent topic on the forum on something similar has not been responded to.
Can anyone please help or at least point me to some useful resource somewhere?
There is no hosted Logstash as part of the Elastic Cloud hosted environment. You'll have to provide a separate host for Logstash or Beats yourself and integrate with your data sources. Logstash or Beats will have to be configured with security credentials for your hosted Elasticsearch instances. This can be done through the use of the cloud ID of your cluster.
