Is there a way to hide on open/temporarily disable the Vega visualisation control panel. Basically, when more casual users open the visualisation, I don't want them to see the code. I can hide the panel using the control at the top right but on page load it defaults to open/revealed.
It sounds like you are sending your users to the Vega editor, which is always going to open the editable code. Instead of sending them to the Vega editor, you could send your users to a tool intended for presentation: either a dashboard or a Canvas.
