Visual builder is not being updated acording to selected time

hi,
i built a topN visualization via the time builder, everything worked fine.
then i added new log lines to ES, all the visualizations that were created by the classic modes (area,line etc) are being updated at real time while the data is being added.
but the VB visualizations are ignoring the new data,
see screenshots.

this is in a 90 days scope (with old and new data)

and this is in a 7 days scope (with new data only)

BTW, i'm using the visual builder here only because i can give a drill down URL to go to when an item is clicked...

any ideas ?
